Designscapes Open third round of the call

The third round of the open call DESIGNSCAPES (Capacity building for innovation enabled for design in urban environments) is now in operation! Candidates now have until 29.11.2019 to submit their requests for Innovation Scalability Testing with Design enabled for the possibility of receiving up to € 25,000 in funding support. Remember: the next stage of welcoming all candidates, including those who have submitted an application and have not previously submitted it.

What are we searching for?

In simple terms, we are looking for innovative solutions to help meet the challenges in the urban context. The best innovations are enabled for design, user-centered, integrated in an urban environment, practical and easy to understand.

Anyone who is willing to solve the challenges related to urbanization can request the DESIGNSCAPES call, but specifically designers and creative entrepreneurs.

OBJECTIVE: is to exploit the generative potential of urban environments in the largest possible number of European cities to encourage the adoption and further improvement and expansion of design innovations enabled by affected companies, start-ups, public authorities and agencies, and Other urban actors.

In the third phase, which will be open from August 1 to November 29, 2019, look for projects that demonstrate your ability to expand and exit an initial, prototype or commercial state.
