Do you no longer know what to do with your children at home? How about if we teach them how renewable energies works and why they are so important?
From BLUE DEAL project we have launched the #waterwheelchallenge, a simple and fun challenge with which we can teach children how to generate energy using the power of the sea. The goal is to build a water wheel with things we have around the house, such as plastic spoons, bottle caps, wooden sticks, etc. and make it work using the power of water.
In this way we can be more aware of the energy potential we have in our Mediterranean Sea. You can see the steps to follow to set up our wheel in this tutorial prepared by Carmen, an 11-year-old girl from Valencia (Spain).
If you want to participate in this challenge, you just have to upload a video of how your wheel works to your social networks with the hashtag #waterwheelchallenge.
Go ahead and participate with us and Let's make a BLUE DEAL!
