Interreg Sudoe Program Calls
A key opportunity for actors in southwestern Europe | Deadline open until September 30th
Hasta el miércoles, 30 de septiembre de 2026 a las 13:30
A key opportunity for actors in Southwest Europe to promote ambitious, high-impact projects.
3rd Call: Capitalization Projects
Capitalization projects are designed to federate the results and achievements produced by traditional projects from the 2021-2027 SUDOE calls and the 2014-2020 SUDOE program, focusing on a specific theme.
Unlike traditional projects, which are centered on producing thematic solutions on the ground, capitalization projects analyze, synthesize, and disseminate existing results, create synergies between projects, and share their achievements with policymakers and European institutional networks.
The project will foster a community of traditional projects around a common theme. It will gather and enhance their results, ensure their transnational transfer, and contribute to their integration into national and European public policies.
Themes open to funding:
- Theme 1: Water resources management
- Theme 2: Agricultural/forestry resources and value chains
- Theme 3: Population aging
Requirements:
The consortium must possess specific skills combining thematic expertise and cross-cutting capabilities:
- Expertise in one of the target themes;
- Coordination and management of complex projects;
- Community building and development of a project community;
- Dissemination and promotion of results among relevant stakeholders and policymakers at the regional, national, and European levels;
- Thematic lobbying and networking at the SUDOE and European levels.
4th Call: Structuring Projects
As a result of the increased ERDF funding granted by the European Commission in 2023, the Interreg SUDOE program is launching a fourth call for projects dedicated to structuring projects. The objective is to provide ambitious transnational solutions to two main challenges in southwestern Europe.
A structuring project aims to establish the necessary foundations and tools at a transnational scale to evolve the organization and coordination of public actors' interventions in a given sector.
Selected themes:
- Wildfires
- Aging
This call for proposals is based on the needs identified in the territories of southwestern Europe. Projects must address these needs by proposing impactful solutions that cover a significant portion of the territory.
Requirements:
The consortium must bring together key entities with the capacity to define and implement public policies and with regulatory authority in the subject matter of the call for proposals. The consortium's composition must be consistent with the project objectives and based on the effective contribution of each entity.
It must include the following types of actors:
- National agencies
- Regional or local authorities
- Operational actors
Deadline:
The application period for both calls for proposals will remain open until September 30, 2026.
